Pars Today – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs wrote on social media that a recent joint statement by several countries regarding what it called “threatening activities attributed to Iran” is a set of politically motivated, baseless, and entirely rejected accusations.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, wrote on X that governments which, he said, have a clear record of violating Iran’s sovereignty, supporting military aggression, harboring terrorist groups, and providing immunity to the Israeli regime do not have the moral or legal authority to accuse the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He added that any participation in a pressure campaign against Iran will face a strong and decisive response from the Islamic Republic.
Gharibabadi emphasized that attributing baseless claims to Iran’s official institutions without providing credible evidence is neither an implementation of international law nor a genuine effort to combat transnational threats. Rather, a political operation aimed at diverting public attention from aggression, occupation, assassination, and serious violations in which, he said, those same governments are directly involved or complicit.
He stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran rejects any attempt involving assassination, kidnapping, intimidation, or attacks on individuals outside the framework of international law. At the same time, he described coordinated statements of this kind as a cover for political pressure, the securitization of Iranian communities, and justification for hostile actions against Iran.
Gharibabadi further added that Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security are not subject to propaganda bargaining. He warned that any hostile action, any baseless accusation, and any participation in pressure campaigns against Iran will be met with a legal, political, and firm response from the Islamic Republic, as well as reciprocal and proportional measures.
