Pars Today- Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi has rejected the British prime minister’s claim about Iran’s alleged role in an incident at RAF Fairford, stressing that London is “looking for the culprit in the wrong place.”
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi responded on social media to the British prime minister’s remarks about Iran’s possible involvement in the incident at RAF Fairford, writing: “British Prime Minister Andy Burnham says his government can confirm that it believes Iran was involved in the incident at RAF Fairford incident. I can confirm Iran’s belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all. You’re barking up the wrong tree”
The British prime minister had earlier said there were “strong indications” of Iran’s involvement in the incident near RAF Fairford. Five British men were arrested in connection with the case and later released on bail, while investigations into the incident are still ongoing. Iran has denied any involvement in the incident.
