Concurrent with the developments of every country, the art and music of that country is strongly influenced. During the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, music had a strong role and the songs which were chanted at that time are still alive in the people’s mind.
Revolutionary songs are referred to as epic songs in Iran. During the formation, climax and victory they were chanted for supporting the Revolution and opposing the despotic regime. Prior to the victory of the Revolution, these songs were performed by the advocates of various political tendencies. Many of these songs were recorded in amateur forms in underground studios and then put to the public access.
