Iran's presidential election will be held in 95 countries
Pars Today- Spokesman of the Guardian Council announced on Thursday that the 14th round of presidential election of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be held on Friday, June 28 in 59 thousand polling stations across the country and 95 countries all over the world.
Hadi Tahan Nazif, Spokesman of the Guardian Council of Iran's Constitution, stating that the time limit for holding the election will be 10 hours and it will start officially from 8 in the morning, added, "According to the Constitution, this time can be prolonged and there is no difference on this time between inside and abroad." According to Pars Today, the Guardian Council examined the resume of 80 persons who had enrolled for presidential election and, finally, according to Article 115 of the Constitution, 6 persons were verified as qualified to compete for presidency. During recent days and after the presidential campaigns and TV debates, 2 of these 6 persons have withdrawn from the race.
The presidential election is going to be held in Iran on Friday, June 28 with the following candidates:
- Masood Pezeshkian
- Mostafa Poormohammadi
- Saeed Jalili
- Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf
