Baqeri: US constantly violating Iranian nation's human rights
Pars Today- Iran's acting foreign minister said, on the 36th anniversary of downing Iranian passenger plane by the US, that the violation of the Iranian nation's human rights is continuously carried out by the US.
36 years ago, on July 3, 1988, an Iranian passenger plane was targeted with two missiles which were shot from the American warship Vincennes and all 291 passengers and crew onboard the plane were killed among whom were 66 children and 53 women. According to Pars Today, Acting Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Baqeri Kani, issuing a message on X social network, wrote, "The violation of Iranian nation's human rights continues incessantly by the US in various forms including imposition of oppressive sanctions."
Stating that today the meaning of American human rights has been revealed to all with the conduct of the US and the Zionist regime in Gaza, Baqeri added, "Today, the US' all-out support for the crimes of the regime occupying al-Quds in Palestine is considered another bloody page in the book of the crimes of the leaders of the United States in genocide, massacre, imposition of famine, occupation and destruction."
The Iranian acting foreign minister made it clear, "The illegal interventions of the US in different regions of the world has turned the country into one of the most important violators of human rights in the world. The unilateral measures, instrumental use of sanctions, all-out and unconditional support for genocide and crimes of the Zionist regime are among the most catastrophic anti-human actions the US has ever committed."
Baqeri stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has strongly stood against these crimes and has flourished despite all these pressures.
