Saudi forces on guard near the Yemeni border
The Saudi Interior Ministry has issued an order to the border guards to start evacuating the residents of several districts of al-Dayer Province in Jizan region.
According to al-Manar news website, the Interior Ministry has given 72 hours to the residents of these regions to evacuate.
The Al-e Zaidan and Al-e Malik tribes which are formed of the largest populations residing in these areas wrote a letter in which they disclosed the Saudi forces' siege of the region, saying that their drinking water and food supplies have been cut to pressure the residents to leave their homes.
The mentioned area covers 51mln square kilometers and the Saudi government is turning it into an abandoned island between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
The Al-e Zaidan and Al-e Malik tribal leaders believe that the Saudi government are forcing them out for the sake of a tourism plan or the interests of the companies affiliated to the Saudi family.
According to Fars News Agency, in relevant remarks on Monday, Saudi whistle-blower Mujtahid, who is believed to be a member of or have a well-connected source in the royal family, also referred to the Saudi princes' plans to evacuate Yemen's bordering areas, and said since the Yemeni and Saudi bordering areas are hosting a big population, the Saudis are attempting to make them empty of residents.
"If one day the war ends, the local residents will not be allowed to return to their homes and the territories of those regions will be divided among the most influential Saudi princes," Mujtahid said.
