Pars Today – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the escalation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip, calling it a clear violation of recent agreements and international law.
According to Pars Today, quoting IRIB News Agency, Hamas said in a statement: The intensified attacks by the criminal Zionist occupying army against civilians in the Gaza Strip—including the bombing of the al‑Daraj and al‑Zeitoun neighborhoods in Gaza City and the al‑Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, which have led to the martyrdom and injury of several of our people—reflect the enemy’s insistence on violating the ceasefire agreement signed in Sharm el‑Sheikh and continuing the genocidal war against our people in Gaza.
Another part of the statement reads: The occupying regime continues its brutal crimes against our people under the cover of the ceasefire agreement, while facing no deterrent response to these grave violations of international and humanitarian law.
Hamas added: The U.S. government and its supporters must act immediately to restrain the occupiers and compel them to stop their aggression against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian movement concluded: We call on the United Nations and its institutions, especially the Security Council, to take positions that guarantee the protection of the Palestinian people and prevent the Zionist killing machine from continuing its assaults against Palestinian civilians.
