Pars Today – The funeral and memorial ceremony for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, has received extensive coverage and live reporting across West Asian media outlets.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, regional and international media—particularly Arab outlets—focused on the massive public turnout and high-level international attendance at the ceremony.

The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar described the event as the “Funeral of the Century,” using a distinctive headline to highlight the farewell ceremony and the presence of senior officials from various countries.

The body of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and his family members was placed in the main hall of the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla in Tehran on Friday morning, where the formal tribute ceremony was held.

Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat dedicated its front-page coverage to the attendance of Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the ceremony.

It reported that after the placement of the bodies, foreign delegations and officials began paying their respects, with various international groups attending—including a delegation from Saudi Arabia—offering tributes to the martyred Leader and those accompanying him.
