People in Syria's Southeastern Deir Ezzur Province are under the siege of the ISIL terrorists and are facing unfavorable conditions due to the severe shortage of food and medicine.
The ISIL has laid a tight siege over large areas in Deir Ezzur which it captured in 2014 and now the people of the province are facing starvation.
With the start of the ISIL attack, several strategic districts of Deir Ezzur city fell to the hands of Takfiri terrorists.
The ISIL has executed a large number of Deir Ezzur's residents and abducted many others since 2014.
Last week, the residents of Deir Ezzur received humanitarian aid packages.
On February 17, at least 2,800 food aid packages were distributed among Deir Ezzur citizens by Syria's Red Crescent Society after they were airdropped by the Syrian air force.
The humanitarian aids are distributed among the Deir Ezzur residents while the Syrian army and popular forces have made considerable advances in the Eastern province.
