Tories out: Mass demo greets UK ruling party's annual gathering

Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of the British city of Manchester. They were angry at the government's policies on a wide range of issues from the cost-of-living crisis to the public sector pay disputes and immigration.

The demonstration came on the second day of the four-day annual Conservative Party Conference.
