The Irish actor from the series Game of Thrones criticized the silence of celebrities in the face of Israeli attacks on Gaza, emphasizing that contrary to popular belief, he has not faced any threats following his protests.

According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, Liam Cunningham, the well-known Irish actor who played Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones, voiced criticism in an interview over Hollywood's inaction and silence regarding the killing of civilians in Gaza.

Cunningham, referring to what he described as “the most horrific event of our lifetime,” said: “I haven’t lost hope in humanity, but the level of cowardice shown by some public figures is truly disappointing.”

Emphasizing the moral responsibility of artists in the face of human tragedies, he said: “I don’t want to look into my grandchildren’s eyes one day and say I did nothing — because doing something is the only option. When you’re aware and still choose not to act, it means you simply didn’t care.”
