Pars Today – The renowned Manchester City coach has once again reacted to the dire situation of the Palestinian people.

Pep Guardiola, the prominent coach of Manchester City, recently spoke about the tragic conditions in Palestine during an interview with the Spanish magazine GQ. According to Pars Today, quoting the website Telegrafi, Guardiola referred in the interview to Israel’s daily bombings of Palestine, which have claimed the lives of numerous civilians. He also emphasized that Israel has worsened the crisis by blocking humanitarian aid from reaching the Gaza Strip.

The Manchester City coach went on to say:
"My whole body aches when I see these anti-human images. It doesn’t seem to be only about what’s happening in Ukraine or Palestine — it’s about the lack of humanity within all of us."

Death of Gaza sports champion amid siege and starvation

In other tragic news, the Middle East Eye news outlet reported that Atef Abukhater, a 17-year-old local sports champion in Gaza, has died due to Israel’s enforced starvation. Before the Gaza blockade and recent conflicts, he was in good health, but after suffering severe weight loss, he was moved to intensive care and eventually passed away.

Atef is one of 163 Palestinians who have died from famine since the complete blockade of the Gaza Strip began in March. Of these, 92 are children. This heartbreaking situation highlights the devastating impact of the siege on civilians, especially children, in Gaza.
