Pars Today – Insecurity and violence in the United States continue, and in the latest incident, eight people were killed in a shooting.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, American media outlets and officials announced that eight children were killed in a shooting at a house in Louisiana.
Wayne Smith, the Louisiana Police Chief, said the victims were between one and fourteen years old, and a total of ten people had been shot. Smith stated that the suspect was killed by police gunfire during a chase and added that some of the children who were shot were related to the suspect.
The shooting occurred on Sunday in Shreveport.
Meanwhile, news sources reported a second violent shooting incident in the United States in recent hours.
ABC News announced that at least three students were injured following a shooting near the University of Iowa. According to the report, Iowa police stated that the cause of the incident was a group dispute and altercation at a shopping center.
