China: US sanctions are “economic bullying”

Pars Today – China has condemned the United States’ decision to impose sanctions on 43 Chinese companies, calling the move “economic bullying.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Beijing on Sunday criticized Washington’s decision to add more than 40 Chinese companies and entities to its sanctions list, stressing that it would defend the interests of Chinese businesses.

A spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Commerce said the U.S. action lacked a factual basis and accused Washington of using allegations related to forced labor and human rights violations as a pretext for imposing unilateral sanctions.

The Chinese government said it would take necessary measures to protect the interests of its companies.
