Ulyanov: Washington’s logic on Hormuz Strait incomprehensible

Pars Today – Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, criticized the US approach to the Strait of Hormuz, calling Washington’s claim regarding freedom of navigation in the waterway contradictory and stressing that the US logic on the issue is difficult to understand.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Ulyanov wrote in a post on X: “The US wants freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, but that very freedom has been undermined by US aggression. Now they want to erase the consequences of their strategic miscalculation by continuing the war. Something doesn’t add up here.”
