Minivan plows into market in Chinese capital, killing 4

A minivan has plowed into a market near the Chinese capital, Beijing, killing four people.
Police said on Wednesday that the incident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. local time in Changping, a rural area north of Beijing.
The marketplace is frequented by farmers.
"People inside the market were struck, causing four deaths and different degrees of injury to many people," said a statement on the local police's verified social media account.
Reports said the injured were transferred to a hospital in the capital.
Police did not elaborate on whether the incident was related to terrorism but said the driver had been arrested.
