The UN has repeatedly stressed that 2020 is a pivotal year in our battle to curb climate change. Hopes are high for COP26, the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties, which is scheduled to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, in November. More than 30,000 delegates from around the world are due to fly in to attend the event, at which nations are expected to unveil concrete plans for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
