Today “Mother’s Day” is being celebrated in the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as in countries and societies where women and motherhood are viewed from the standpoint of virtue with respect attached to them as the basic builders of sound and healthy societies in sharp contrast to the decadent western culture where women are considered carnal and commercial commodities.
