Ramadhan, the month of opportunities (13)
Apr 15, 2022 07:46It was said in the previous episodes that the philosophy of fasting is to reach Godwariness. Godwariness means taking heed of one’s deeds to do all of them for God’s sake. This is in fact the program of the life of the faithful. But this program is not limited in personal aspects and includes social affairs, too.

Ramadhan, the month of opportunities (12)
Apr 14, 2022 13:59God in ayah 16 of surah Qāf says, “And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.” It means Allah is present always and everywhere. He hears our voice and is aware of our innermost secrets. He knows our intentions, but we are unable to sense His presence. Our sins and indecent acts and our wicked intentions and bad morals cause us to forget God. These pollutions make a thick curtain over our heart and deprive us from seeing the realities.

Ramadhan, the month of opportunities (11)
Apr 13, 2022 19:45We often forget God’s blessings since we are plunged in them. Health is one of these blessings. We appreciate it only when we are sick. The blessed month of Ramadhan is a great blessing. We should not be indifferent toward this great month. This month has an appearance and an inward. The appearance and outward of Ramadhan is like other months.

Ramadhan, the month of opportunities (10)
Apr 12, 2022 19:58In Islam there is a deep and close relation between faith and behavior. It is impossible to have faith in God and the Day of Judgment without religious behavior. Therefore, it will never be accepted from anyone who does not do rituals and worships claiming to have reached the inward of deeds. Prophet Mohammad (SAWA), who was in the highest degree of spirituality and was the closest person to God, never gave up rituals and practical worships.

Apr 11, 2022 09:20Fasting is among the worships which God had prescribed in the religions before Islam. He says in ayah 183 of surah Baqara that fasting has been prescribed for Muslims as it had been prescribed for those before. Fasting in general means abstaining from eating and drinking.

Ramadhan, the month of opportunities (7)
Apr 09, 2022 09:1814 centuries ago, when the entire Arabian Peninsula was plunged in ignorance and superstitions, the Messenger of Mercy, Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him and his progeny), said, “Fast to be healthy.” It is believed in different religions that fasting is useful for both the body and the spirit.

Ramadhan, the month of opportunities (6)
Apr 08, 2022 20:04Refraining from gluttony is one of the features of healthy living which has been emphasized in different religions, including Islam. Our heavenly leaders say that excessive eating and drinking will both harm the body and the spirit. One whose ultimate goal is to eat the best and the most will surely fail to fulfill his/her religious duties and will not reach God’s proximity.
