End of disastrous 2019, start of unpredictable 2020

Wednesday marks the start of the year 2020 of the Christian Gregorian calendar that was ushered in at midnight in the West and in societies influenced by western culture.

An adage says “the objective of a New Year is to have a new soul, and to prepare for the present requires proper pondering on incidents of the year gone by.”

Wonder, how many of the so-called statesmen in the West, especially of the supposedly big powers, have the soul or the mind to reflect on their strategic blunders of the past year that have worsened the misery of mankind!     

Donald Trump, the scoundrel in the White House who was impeached by the House of Representatives for his high crimes and

misdemeanors, in the closing days of the year 2019, had shamelessly started the year with a meaningless message that inspires no one in view of his inhuman terrorist nature that was fully manifest on the 29^th of December when he violated the sovereignty of Iraq by ordering air strikes on bases of the popular mobilization units.

A criminal to his very core, Trump, if not impeached by the Senate and kicked out from the White House this month, is expected to indulge in more acts of terrorism on the international scene, in addition to tearing apart the fabric of the American society through his white racist policies and immoral practices.

The Zionists who don’t believe in the Christian calendar and yet continue to deceive the unsuspecting and naïve Christians of Europe and the Americas, are not expected to end their genocide of Palestinians in 2020. The oppressed people of Palestine are once again being mercilessly targeted by Israel, with blood flowing in the land where Jesus and other Prophets had preached the message of peace.

Meanwhile, the US and Britain, despite their claim to be Christian societies, may not cease their support for the state terrorism and war crimes of Saudi Arabia in Yemen, where over a hundred thousand men, women, and children have died over the past five years, and the infrastructure pounded to dust, with famine and epidemic staring the displaced 3 million people the face.

True, the year 2019 had its share of sweet and bitter memories, but even the sweet endings, did not bring any relief to Rohingya Muslims who continue to be persecuted, tortured, killed, and expelled from their homes and hearths by a genocidal regime in Myanmar run by a brutal lady.

Presently, around a million Rohingya Muslims are living as refugees in camps in Bangladesh, while the world has turned a blind eye to their plight.  

In Afghanistan, violence continued unabated throughout the year, with around more civilian casualties, mostly the result of the illegal presence of American occupation troops, the Taliban attacks and the cowardly bomb blasts triggered by the Daesh terrorists, who have been transported by the US from Syria and Iraq.

The dastardly Daesh mainly targeted mosques and cultural centres of Shi’a Muslims in Kabul and other cities.

In India, mass demonstrations continued to rock towns and cities against the anti-Muslim citizenship law that threatens to make over two hundred million Indian Muslims stateless.

People of other faiths, including Christians, Sikhs and the Hindus have joined the Muslims in the protest marches, which the police and paramilitary forces are trying to crush through brutal measures.

In Lebanon, a new government is about to be formed, thanks to the convergence of views between the country’s Muslims and Christians, despite the seditious moves of the US and the Saudis.

Elsewhere, the US continued its disastrous trade war with China, while instigating demonstrations in Hong Kong in a bid to weaken Beijing. In the West Asia region, the illegal American presence might lead to catastrophic consequences in 2020, in view of the terroristic policies of the US, including economic terrorism against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hopefully, If Trump is kicked out, it will be a blessing for the world, provided another devil does not replace him. Surely, he and the sinful society this maniac is creating, cannot escape divine wrath, as is evident by God Almighty’s words to the Virgin-born Messiah, who was sent to the “lost sheep of Israel” that betrayed Jesus and continues its crimes against humanity.

“Jesus, many were the nations that I destroyed for their committing the sins.”

The West is totally alienated from the true message of the Son of Mary. The goal of the message of the Prophets is to ensure peace, prosperity and justice in the transient life of this world, and guarantee salvation in afterlife. That is the reason, through them God gave laws to the human societies, so that they will not follow the whims and deception of Satan to coin absurd laws of their own, as is the case with the secular societies and the weird system of liberal democracy, which is actually rebellion against God and violation of the teachings of Jesus.
