One of the main challenges in the campaign against terrorism is the presence of different and at times paradoxical views toward the topic of terrorism. In the meantime, the West is intent on taking advantage of the tool of terrorism in strategic countries and regions of the world, including Middle East and West Asia.

Criminal groups such as Daesh terrorist outfit commit many heinous crimes in Islamic lands. This is while the thoughts and approaches these terrorist groups maintain in committing violence and terrorist operations, originate from the Western culture. It should be said that many of the criminal behavioral patterns of terrorist outfits are supported by racist outfits in Europe and the US; and the West practically supports these terrorist groups.

In other words, within the different layers of the West’s behavioral patterns and cultural models, the stage and the environment has been set to promote violence.

Despite of these facts, theorists in the West have always sought the roots of violence somewhere else. This is while the West, by reliance upon its unilateral and selective interpretations of terrorism, has always backed the injustices imposed by Zionists on the oppressed Palestinian nation.

The US doesn’t consider the crimes committed by the Zionist regime as cases of terrorism, violence, and radicalism, but, ironically refers to the legitimate defense of the Palestinian people against occupiers, as a case of terrorism.

One of the main threats posed by the Western media and political circles against the World of Islam is to somehow drive a wedge among Muslims.

In line with this destructive current, usage of regional actors to prevent the unification of Muslim nations is a conspiracy which intends to stir sectarian sedition in the region. Currently, this current is openly pursued by the Saudi regime and is considered as one of the main factors in presentation of Greater Middle East plan by the US.

The incidents which we have observed in Iraq and Syria, show that today CIA and MOSSAD spy agencies have highly contributed to the formation and growth of this destructive current, in coordination with the Saudi regime’s intelligence apparatus.

Measures; such as the Saudi regime’s official support for MKO terrorist group shows that Saudi princes have even resorted to voicing support for MKO terrorist outfit for attainment of their political goals.

The Saudi regime has on several occasions taken advantage of terrorist outfits, within the framework of its regional policies.

According to Global Research think tank, the Saudi and Israeli regimes support Takfiri terrorist groups, such as Al-Qaeda and Daesh.

In its report, this think tank points out that for instance the Zionist regime’s troops in Golan Heights are linked to terrorist groups, affiliated to Al-Qaeda.

Given the covert and overt roles of the West in relation to terrorism and radicalism; the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, in his two letters addressed to Western youths, referred to the paradoxical policies of the Western regimes.

The main point in the analysis of West’s conduct toward terrorism is the fact that terrorism is rooted in West’s policies. However, the West ironically claims to pioneer the campaign against terrorism. These double standards have throughout the years become an integral part of West’s political culture.

History shows that one of the approaches of foreign powers for infiltration in the World of Islam has been to somehow drive a wedge among Islamic countries.

In the early 1990s, upon an apparent development, campaign against terrorism turned into an accepted dialogue and was globalized, while the unilateral policies of the West were continuously emphasized and promoted by media, organizations, and political circles.

As of those times to this date; any country, group, and figures whose views are rejected and condemned by Western regimes, are baselessly labeled as terrorists.

Based on this definition, as of the early 1990s, suddenly the movement of the people of Palestine and Lebanon was referred to as terrorism, as the consequence of which Iran, which supported the resistance movement, was baselessly referred to as the supporter of terrorism.

This propaganda campaign was staged against Iran and all of the countries which stood up against hegemonic powers, in a futile bid to undermine these countries.

Meanwhile, the hegemonic powers, led by the US, in the next phase, organized and activated Takfiri groups in West Asia to intensify their Islamophobia campaign, and to get one step closer to the goal of disintegration and domination of the region.

In other words, hegemonic powers that currently claim to pioneer the campaign against terrorism are in fact the supporters and planners of terrorist outfits.

Currently, history is repeating itself, and the hegemonic powers, led by the US, with colonial intentions, aim to pave the way for undermining Islamic countries.

Today, the presence of Daesh terrorist outfit in Iraq and Syria, and its domination over the oil-rich regions, has raised another golden opportunity for the US and Zionist regime of Israel.

Numerous evidences show that behind the scenes of the West’s campaign against terrorism, Western regimes support Takfiri groups, highly contributing to regional seditions; and the growth of Salafi currents.
