Sweden: Israel’s plan to “control” Gaza violates international law

Pars Today – The Swedish minister of foreign affairs has condemned Israel’s plan to exert “control” over the Gaza Strip, deeming it a violation of international law.
Maria Malmer Stenergard, whose country recognized Palestine in 2014, stated on Monday that Israel’s action is tantamount to annexation and contravenes international law. Sweden firmly stands by its conviction that the territory of Gaza should not be altered or diminished. The Swedish foreign minister also emphasizing the necessity of resuming aid shipments to Gaza, added, “In our discussions, we have repeatedly called on Israel to allow access and distribution of aid based on humanitarian principles.”/ IRNA
