Berlin backs political pressure on Israel

Pars Today – Germany has emphasized the need for exerting “political pressure” on the Zionist regime.

Germany's Vice Chancellor, Lars Klingbeil on Thursday called for the protection of the people of Gaza, the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave, unimpeded access for relief workers, and an end to Israel’s plans to forcibly displace Gazans. He stressed, “These are clear demands that we have within the European Union. We are also calling for stronger political pressure.” Germany described the aid sent to the Gaza Strip as insufficient, stating that it does not meet the needs of the Palestinian people. (IRNA)
