Colombia appoints its first ambassador to Palestine

Pars Today – Colombia has officially launched its embassy in Palestine and appointed its first ambassador to the Palestinian Authority.

Colombia has named Jorge Iván Ospina, former Mayor of Cali and a close associate of President Gustavo Petro, as its first ambassador to Palestine. In early May 2024, the Colombian president severed ties with the Zionist regime and charged prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet with committing genocide in the Gaza Strip. / IRNA
