Palestinian flag hoisted at WHO's headquarters

Pars Today – Following a vote on Monday (May 26), the Palestinian delegation has secured the right to raise the Palestinian flag at the headquarters of the World Health Organization (WHO).

During the annual WHO assembly held in Geneva, the proposal to hoist the Palestinian flag was passed with 95 votes in favor. The motion was introduced by countries including China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and others. Four countries—Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, and the Zionist regime—voted against it, while 27 countries abstained. / IRNA
