AEOI's chief: Enrichment capability is Iran’s red line in nuclear talks

Pars Today –The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) stressed on Wednesday that depriving Iran of enrichment capability equates to dismantling its entire nuclear industry, which is a red line for the Islamic Republic.

Speaking on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting and responding to speculation in the media regarding a proposal submitted to Tehran about forming a regional enrichment consortium, Mohammad Eslami said: “Iran’s position on the nuclear issue is entirely legal, principled, and fundamental. Enrichment is the pillar and foundation of Iran’s nuclear industry.” He added that the content circulating in public discourse—especially foreign media and certain political circles—does not reflect the reality of the negotiations.
