Gharibabadi: Iran will respond appropriately to any abuse of its goodwill

Pars Today – In response to the latest report by the IAEA's director general regarding Iran's peaceful nuclear program, the Iranian deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs said the Islamic Republic will give an appropriate response to any potential abuse of its goodwill.

Kazem Gharibabadi noted that as long as a country's nuclear activities remain under IAEA supervision, there is no cause for concern. He added that under IAEA documents, there are no limits on enrichment levels, provided it is not diverted to non-peaceful purposes. Stressing that Tehran does not seek nuclear weapons, Gharibabadi affirmed that Iran has adhered to all its commitments so far, but will also stand against bullying and domination efforts by certain powers.
