Israel remains in a state of 'confusion'
Pars Today – A Zionist media outlet reported that Israel lacks a coherent plan for the future of the Gaza Strip and continues to propose fragmented, incomplete strategies.
In a Monday editorial in Yedioth Ahronoth, Ariella Ringel-Hoffman wrote that the idea of building a “humanitarian city” in Gaza is a disastrous plan destined to fail, one that will only result in enormous costs.
“This process once again places a heavy burden on a society [Israel] that has already been bearing this weight for a year and a half,” she wrote, citing surveys showing that nearly 80 percent of Israelis share this sentiment.
She added that while negotiations continue in Doha, the reality of the situation is best captured by Ilan Gilboa-Dalal, father of Israeli captive Guy Gilboa-Dalal, who described the false hopes given to captives' families during Netanyahu’s trip to Washington.
