Pars Today – Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Monday warned that failure to act now would make the world complicit in the crimes committed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet.

Petro pointed to steps taken by Colombia, including the suspension of coal exports to the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and praised nations such as South Africa and Malaysia for their strong anti-Israel stances.

He condemned the destruction in Gaza and urged the international community to take concrete action to end Israeli crimes, which have claimed over 57,000 lives—mostly women and children.

“For the past 600 days, the world has watched Netanyahu lead a campaign of destruction in Gaza, escalate regional tensions, and disregard international law,” Petro said, lamenting that many governments have let strategic calculations override their humanitarian obligations.
