Iran, Pakistan FMs discuss Gaza crisis and bilateral ties
Pars Today – The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan in a telephone conversation discussed the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians. The officials also reviewed recent developments in bilateral relations between their countries.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry confirmed the discussion between Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who serves as both Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, and Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. During the call, both parties discussed the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza that has affected millions of Palestinian residents.
Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the Palestinian people while demanding immediate and unhindered access for humanitarian aid to Gaza. He also expressed hope for productive outcomes from the upcoming international conference on the Palestinian issue scheduled for Monday in New York.
The foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan also discussed bilateral relations and preparations for an upcoming visit by a high-level delegation from the Islamic Republic to Islamabad.
