Pezeshkian: Iran–Tajikistan relations are improving satisfactorily

Pars Today – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that relations between Iran and Tajikistan, grounded in shared language, history, culture, and civilization, are improving in a satisfactory way. He noted that the two countries have good potential for cooperation, and activating those opportunities would serve the interests of both nations.

According to IRNA, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on Monday evening on the sidelines of the emergency summit of leaders of Islamic countries and the Arab League in Doha, Qatar. Expressing pleasure at meeting Rahmon, Pezeshkian said: “When the interval between our meetings becomes shorter, they move beyond a purely diplomatic formality and are instead marked by warmth and friendship — something that helps speed up and facilitate joint cooperation.”
