Iranian, Polish FMs meet on sidelines of UNGA
Pars Today - Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who traveled to New York to participate in the 80th UN General Assembly, met with Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski.
During the meeting, Araghchi discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between Iran and Poland, as well as regional and international developments.
During the meeting, in addition to bilateral relations, the two ministers discussed international peace and security, including the Ukraine conflict and developments in the West Asia region.
Iran’s Foreign Minister criticized the misguided approaches of three European countries regarding Iran’s nuclear issue, emphasizing the need for all parties to act responsibly and avoid complicating the situation further.
Araghchi also described the aggressive attacks by the Israeli regime and the United States against Iran, including damage to the Islamic Republic’s peaceful nuclear facilities, as an unprecedented violation of the rule of law and a dangerous sign of “law of the jungle” prevailing in international relations.
The Iranian Foreign Minister further warned of the consequences of indifference toward the spread of such violations and called on all countries to uphold the principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter.
