Iran's President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi said his administration is pursuing the policy of expansion of economic and trade relations with other countries.

According to Tasnim news agency, in comments at a Sunday meeting of the cabinet, President Raeisi said Iran’s policy is now based upon the enhancement of economic and trade relations with the other countries.

He also paid tribute to late Iranian Commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, saying, "Martyr Soleimani was a real man in the field and in practice showed his commitment to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution."

Highlighting the need to pay attention to the families of the martyrs of the Ukrainian plane crash, the president issued an order to ensure the legal rights of these families, the administration’s website reported.

"The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the Foundation for Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces' Logistics and the Vice-Presidency for Legal Affairs should form a working group to follow up on solving the problems of the families of this incident," he added.

The president then called on the Ministry of Agriculture to clarify the standards of agricultural goods exported to different countries in the media and speak to the people scientifically aynd accurately by inviting experts in this regard.

Referring to the concerns of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Aatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the clerics and the people about the situation of social harms, President Raeisi stated, "Reducing harms and also eliminating the concern about crimes in cyberspace is the duty of all relevant agencies."

The president also stressed the need to complete and implement the national network of information by next year.

Stressing the need for the sustainable supply of energy in the wintertime, he said, "God willing, we will not witness gas and electricity outage in the country this year by observing the consumption pattern. Of course, the realization of this will depend on the cooperation of the people and the production sectors."

In the meeting, all ministries, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were instructed to activate joint commissions between Iran and other countries to develop trade and economic relations.
