Pars Today - Iranian Wushu National Team managed to mark a brilliant year by winning 50 colorful medals in international arenas last year.
Amir Seddiqi, the President of the Iranian Wushu Federation, in explaining the performance of the federation in the past year, said: "The result of the efforts of our athletes was fifty valuable medals in international competitions, of which the most important medals were undoubtedly the 3 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 3 bronze medals won at the Asian Games."
He noted: “Also, very good medals were obtained by Iranian Wushu athletes in the World University Games.
Sadeghi added that the Iranian team also had a good performance in the World Kurash Championships, saying: “In the Wushu competitions for young people and senior groups in Macau and also in the Asian Kurash Championships in China, outstanding results were achieved by the Iranian National Teams.”
