Baqaei: The Zionist regime’s attack on Qatar is a violation of the principles of the UN Charter

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reacting to the Zionist regime’s attack on Qatar and Hamas officials, described this act as a continuation of the regime’s crimes and a breach of international norms.

According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, Esmaeil Beqaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday, in reaction to the Zionist regime’s attack on Qatar and Hamas officials, said:

“This act is extremely dangerous and criminal, a blatant violation of all international laws and regulations, of Qatar’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and an assault on Palestinian negotiators.”

Esmaeil Beqaei added: “This action by the Zionist regime is a continuation of its highly dangerous crimes and a violation of the principles, purposes, and rules of the United Nations Charter.”

Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized: This issue must make the countries of the region and the entire international community more alert than ever, and serve as a warning about the dangers arising from the continued inaction and indifference of the global community toward the aggressions and violations of law committed by the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories and the West Asia region.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Zionist regime targeted members of the Hamas negotiating delegation while they were holding a meeting in Doha, the capital of Qatar. According to reports, in this assassination operation, carried out using Israeli military fighter jets, 12 massive explosions took place.

Initial reports indicate that Khalil al-Hayya, a senior Hamas official, has been martyred.

Meanwhile, Zionist media also claimed that it is estimated seven senior Hamas officials were targeted in the attacks on Doha.y

It is said that the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack on Doha was carried out with a green light from the United States. In this regard, the Zionist regime’s army radio announced that the U.S. had given Israel the green light to carry out the assassination operation in Doha.
