IRGC: Major U.S.–Zionist anti-Iran plot has failed
Pars Today — The Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has described the terrorist incidents of the month of Dey as part of a large-scale U.S.–Zionist plot aimed at fragmenting Iran’s national, identity, and territorial unity—a plot that failed due to the efforts of security forces and the cooperation of the public.
According to Pars Today, the IRGC Intelligence Organization on Friday issued its third statement outlining what it called the decisive battlefield in the struggle against a “malicious enemy,” addressing the Iranian nation. The statement was released on the occasion of the anniversaries of Sha’ban, the Day of the IRGC, and while reaffirming solidarity with the families of those killed in the recent U.S.–Zionist unrest against Iran.
Statement No. 3 of the IRGC Intelligence Organization on the U.S.–Zionist unrest of Dey reads as follows:
These terrorist incidents were carried out in the aftermath of the 12-day war and, influenced by the strategic failures of the hegemonic system, were executed hastily. They constituted part of a broader U.S.–Zionist plan that was thwarted thanks to the preparedness of security and law-enforcement institutions and the vigilance of the Iranian people. Immediately after the 12-day war, an “enemy command center” was formed to carry out terrorist actions inside Iran, involving ten hostile and rival intelligence services.
An examination of documents and intelligence obtained from this command center shows that “internal unrest, military intervention, and the activation of small militant groups” were considered the main pillars of their operation to create a moment of existential threat against greater Iran. Accordingly, the IRGC Intelligence Organization launched cognitive countermeasures and a series of intelligence operations aimed at preventing and managing the intensity, depth, and scope of potential threats and unrest. In this regard, from July 26, 2025, until early Dey, the implementation of an operational plan involving targeted action against two pillars—“internal unrest” and “group-based militancy”—was initiated.
