Iran’s Yamameh enters Palestinian Al-Awda Film Festival
Pars Today – A film by a director from Khuzestan in southern Iran has been selected for the Al-Awda International Film Festival in Palestine.
According to Pars Today citing IRNA, the Iranian short film Yamameh, directed by Mehdi Mansour and written and produced by Adel Omran Arab, has been selected for the 10th edition of the international Al-Awda International Film Festival in Palestine.
The cultural event, which showcases works centered on resistance and identity, provides a platform for films with humanistic and social perspectives.
The film focuses on the concept of reviving life in contrast to the decline of moral values. Using a symbolic and poetic language, the work presents a human narrative of hope and social crisis, inviting audiences to reflect on the meaning of humanity.
The participation of “Yamameh” in the festival is considered a step toward introducing the capacities of independent Iranian cinema on the international stage.
