Leader of Islamic Revolution appreciates religious authority and Iraqi people

Pars Today – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution appreciated the principled stances of the Grand Religious Marja'iyyah (religious authority) and the people of Iraq.

According to Pars Today, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, thanked the Grand Religious Marja'iyyah and the people of Iraq for their explicit stance against the aggression on Iran.

Following the call by Ayatollah Sistani, the Grand Shia cleric of Iraq, for aid to Iran, the first caravan of public aid set off from the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (pbuh) towards Iran.

Earlier, the Iraqi Marja'iyyah had condemned the regional war on Iran in the strongest terms, calling on all Muslims and free thinkers worldwide to condemn it and to show solidarity with the oppressed peoples of Iran and Lebanon.
