Message of Ayatollah Khamenei following Admiral Tangsiri’s martyrdom

Pars Today – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued a message offering condolences on the martyrdom of the brave and courageous commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri.

According to Pars Today, the full text of the message by Ayatollah Khamenei is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“And do not think of those who are killed in the path of God as dead; rather, they are alive, sustained in the presence of their Lord.”

The brave and courageous commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, has been adorned with the status of martyrdom after years of striving. The martyrdom of this valiant son of Tangestan, a soldier of Iran and a guardian of Islam in the epic of the third imposed war, is considered a great honor for the brave people of Bushehr, the youth of the southern region, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, and the Iranian nation, who have always been the guardians of Iran's independence and water borders, especially the Persian Gulf. This will enable them to tread the path of Iran's naval power and resistance stronger and more firmly than before, God willing.

I congratulate and offer condolences for the martyrdom of this valiant commander to his respected family, his comrades, and the commanders of the Navy and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. I ask God Almighty for the highest ranks for the martyr.
