Iranian seminaries condemn Manama decision to revoke Sheikh Qassim's citizenship

The Iranian seminary teachers in a statement on Tuesday condemned Manama for its decision to strip religious leader Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassim of citizenship, stressing that the end of the al-Khalifa and al-Saud dynasties is close.

"The Qom seminary teachers society deplores the al-Khalifa regime's insult to the Bahraini Ulema and revolutionaries and declares its support for the struggles of the country's people and calls on all Muslim and revolutionary people and popular bodies to continue support for the oppressed people similar to the past and don’t allow the oppressed Bahraini people to be forgotten," the statement said.

According to FNA, it also warned the al-Khalifa and al-Saud rulers that the regional developments will eventually end up in their annihilation.

Bahrain's Interior Ministry announced in a statement yesterday the country's top Shiite cleric was stripped of his citizenship.
