Pars Today – The Secretary‑General of Iraq’s al‑Nujaba Movement, in response to recent statements by American officials, emphasized the sensitivity of the issue of resistance groups’ weapons and called on domestic factions to reject any proposal to raise this matter.
According to Pars Today, Sheikh Akram al‑Kaabi, Secretary‑General of the al‑Nujaba Movement, stated that in recent days’ numerous remarks have been made by the chargé d’affaires of the U.S. embassy—referred to as the “embassy of evil and corruption”—and directly provoked by the Zionist regime, regarding the weapons of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
He added: It is regrettable that a small number of individuals, influenced by worldly interests, have turned into a platform for these positions.
Al‑Kaabi, emphasizing religious, national, and moral responsibility, called on all resistance groups to categorically reject even raising such an issue.
He also stated: Hearing such statements—which reflect the positions of the United States and the Zionist regime—at a time when our country is still under occupation, its airspace is being violated, and its sovereignty is weakened as a result of clear and ongoing interventions, is a source of disgrace.
Al‑Kaabi stressed that the weapons of the resistance are a red line, the trust of the martyrs, and a source of honor for the noble Iraqi tribes.
According to him, these weapons have been a means of easing the pain of victims’ families, boosting the morale of believers, and have also played a role in confronting the Daesh group and its supporters.
The Secretary‑General of al‑Nujaba concluded by emphasizing that these weapons will not be surrendered as long as the resistance forces remain, and that, if necessary, lives will be sacrificed to protect them.
