Tel Aviv concerned over rising reverse migration in Occupied Territories
Pars Today – An Israeli center has reported an unprecedented rise in the rate of reverse migration in the occupied territories and Tel Aviv's concern over the situation.
According to a report by Pars Today, the Zionist newspaper "Maariv," citing Israel's "Taub" Center for Social and Political Studies, wrote that the number of Israelis leaving the occupied territories has increased, while the return of emigrants to these territories has decreased.
The report, which contains up-to-date data and information on the situation of residents in the occupied territories and the most important findings of studies conducted by the center over the past year, shows that emigration of Israeli-born individuals—both Jewish and non-Jewish—from the occupied territories has seen a steady increase since 2022. Over the past three years, the emigration rate has surpassed all levels recorded in the previous decade, while the number of immigrants to these territories has declined compared to the decade prior to this period.
The report also states that the simultaneous decline in immigration to the occupied territories and the increase in reverse migration have resulted in the Zionist regime experiencing net negative migration for two consecutive years.
