The Syrian warplanes targeted terrorists' command centers in two key cities north of Homs Province, military sources said on Tuesday.

"The Syrian strikers targeted and destroyed two command centers of the terrorists in Tir Ma'ala and Talbiseh, killing dozens of them and destroying their military hardware, including a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns," the sources indicated.

The Syrian jets also tracked and targeted several heavy machinegun equipped vehicles driving on a road near the city of Palmyra (Tadmur), destroying all the terrorists' pick-up trucks there.

In a separate operation, the Syrian jets, tracking terrorists' movements on the roads near the town of Quaryatayn, southeast of Homs, destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles, killing or injuring the terrorists inside the vehicles.

Earlier, Syrian warplanes, in a concerted operation, targeted the ISIL terrorists’ gatherings and positions in Tuloul al-Soud and in nearby areas around the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) in the Central province'.

"In the meantime, the Syrian forces continued fierce battles to crush the terrorist groups' defense lines in Talbiseh, killing at least seven terrorists and damaging their military hardware across the city," the sources further added.
