Yemen’s Ansarullah movement leader, Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, stressed that the Yemeni people have no other option than military confrontation as long as the Saudi-US aggression is persistent.

During a televised speech on "Week of Martyr", during which Ansarullah pays tribute to the martyrs of Yemen, Houthi advised the Saudi regime to reconsider its options in Yemen "because the end of the fighting will witness its defeat, al-Manar reported.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for more than 333 days now to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far martyred at least 8,300 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.

Hadi stepped down in January, 2015, and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries.

Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

Over 3,750 schools have been closed and at least 1.2 million Yemeni people have been displaced so far.
