ISIL positions in Hama razed by Syrian jets

The ISIL terrorist group has received another severe blow as the Syrian military airplanes crushed the group’s positions in the eastern parts of Hama Province on Tuesday, battlefield reports said.

"The Syrian fighter jets carried out four rounds of combat flights over ISIL terrorists in two villages of al-Hardanah and al-Qastal in the eastern regions of Hama Province," the reports said.

The reports also suggested that during the intensive aerial operation two ISIL positions in the area were severely destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed or injured.

Earlier in a separate development in Hama Province, the Syrian Army fended off the assaults of the al-Nusra Front on the government forces' positions in the southern part of the province and inflicted a heavy death toll on the terrorists.

The al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front's attempts to prevail over the defense lines of the government forces near the villages of al-Rumaylah and al-Madajen in al-Salamiyah region were thwarted by the Syrian soldiers, as a result of which several terrorists were killed.
