BRICS foreign ministers attend summit in South Africa

The foreign ministers of the BRICS group of major emerging economies are in South Africa for a summit aimed at discussing strategies to establish the bloc as a key alternative to Western geopolitical dominance.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has traveled to Cape Town at the invitation of the South African government to take part in the BRICS plus summit.
