Telegraph: What is Britain\'s ultimate goal of complicity in Yemen\'s bombing?
Pars Today - British daily, Telegraph, rebuking the country's complicity in bombardment of Yemen, wrote that no aggressor has triumphed in history in attacking Yemen.
British warplanes on Wednesday (April 30), participated in the American military aggression against Yemen and bombed some targets in the country. Political analysts in London raise the question, "What is the ultimate goal of these attacks and why should Britain meddle in this war?" According to Pars Today, Telegraph wrote that critics have warned against fruitlessness of this military meddling.
British analyst, James Snail, in an opinion, referring to the record of foreign military interferences in Yemen, wrote that for the past 60 years, different countries have fought in Yemen such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia, but the consequences have been disastrous. Egypt was in ruins after the war and Saudi Arabia faced human crisis and missile and drone attacks.
Snail added, "We are neither Saudi Arabia nor Egypt. But, this does not mean that we can really defeat Ansarullah."
He continued, "Launching a few missiles is easy and soothing. But, Britain should ask itself as what is its plan for future. The US gets usually tired of these wars and retreats. Why should we get on board this train again?"
James Snail stressed, "Analysts believe that if Britain lacks a specific goal, a long-term strategy and a tangible result in this war, it will be inevitable to repeat the past bitter experiences."
Britain and the US, have started aerial attacks against Yemen since 15 March, 2025, in support for the illegitimate Zionist regime. These two accomplices of Israel have bombed residential areas, vital infrastructures, including water reservoirs and civilian centers of the country. The attacks have resulted in martyrdom of hundreds of Yemeni civilians and injury of hundreds of others.
