Prominent American host criticizes Trump’s empty promises

Pars Today – Margaret Brennan, a prominent host at CBS News, criticized Donald Trump’s repeated, empty promises in a social media post, writing: “Nothing has happened yet.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Brennan wrote in a post that President Trump said on Tuesday that it would become clear within 48 hours what was happening regarding Iran.

On Wednesday, he said, “I don’t want people to be killed” and “We are talking.”

Then, on Friday, he said he wanted the State Department meeting to move quickly because “we have a war coming that we have to pursue.”

Brennan added that throughout the week, there had been talk of a possible agreement between Oman and Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, “but still, nothing has happened.”
