U.S. air power grounded in face of Iran’s strategy
Pars Today — The reputable strategic publication Small Wars Journal has written that the U.S. military operation against Iran demonstrated how devastating bombardment in the early stages of a war can fail to produce any meaningful strategic outcome.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, an assessment by Small Wars Journal, a specialized publication focusing on warfare, found that Iran, through its asymmetric capabilities and decentralized structure, had brought the United States to a strategic deadlock.
Small Wars Journal stressed that the logic of coercion against Iran had reached an impasse, and that threats to repeat attacks that Tehran had already demonstrated its ability to survive lacked credibility.
The international publication also stated that Washington had surrendered its advantage by losing its escalation leverage, while Iran, in contrast, had gained control over the Strait of Hormuz.
