Dennis Ross: Despite Iran–US differences, an agreement is possible

Pars Today – A former US official stated that a lack of clarity regarding the White House’s objectives could influence President Donald Trump’s potential agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran, but noted that there are indications a deal is within reach.

Dennis Ross, former Special Assistant to US President Barack Obama and a veteran official in various American administrations, in a commentary on the Trump administration's approach to a nuclear agreement with Iran wrote: "The ambiguity in defining clear objectives could likely affect Donald Trump's willingness to reach a deal with Iran regarding its nuclear program."
